One of my local travels this year is in Lake Sebu in South Cotabato province. We went there via General Santos City. The place is quite far but once you can reach there, you will surely appreciate the place. The economy of the place is controlled by aquaculture. Most people are owning a fish cage in the lake. In fact, when we went there, It was my first time to taste the “Kinilaw na Tilapia”. You will surely appreciate the place, because aside from the natural beauty of the place you can also appreciate the culture as the place is the home of the T’boli and other tribes. You can also see the wonders of the seven waterfalls. There are a lot of things that you can do in the place. You can see the wonders of nature by touring around the lake by boat, or maybe do the trekking or just stay in their cottages to breathe the fresh air and watch the sunrise and the sunset. People are friendly not to mention the affordable cottages rate and food.
